Welland cyclist completes 1,500km French ride for ARCOS
James Appleby cycled a total of 1500 km along the Euro Velo 6 route from the Atlantic coast to the Alps, over the course of 15 days, to raise money for Arcos. The route follows major rivers, such as the Loire and Saone, through the wine producing regions of France.
The route continues to the Black Sea, following the Rhine and the Danube, to Budapest and beyond, and James and cycling companion, Jo Harrington, hope to complete the remaining 2500kms next year.
